Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven Marjory "Elaine" Adams, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 4, 2026, in Brentwood, TN. Born on February 12, 1962, in Memphis, Tennessee, Marjory lived a life radiant with love, laughter, and unwavering faith. Elaine was a proud graduate of Kingsbury High School in Memphis, TN. Her passion for learning led her to enroll in The University of Mississippi. When her daughter, Amanda, left for her own college adventure, Elaine earned her Master's degree in Accounting and passed all of her CPA licensure examinations on the first try. Marjory's vibrant spirit extended beyond her education; she was a true fan of boxing, drag racing, and wrestling. She found joy in the thrill of competition and cherished moments spent outdoors, embracing her love for animals-especially dogs. A compassionate soul, Elaine worked with The Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation and helped rescue squirrels, rabbits, and other animals, reflecting her innate kindness toward all living creatures. Always at her happiest by the beach or lounging by the pool in the summer, she also nurtured a love for flowers and birds, bringing beauty into her home and heart. As a lifelong Christian and a dedicated member of Cross Point Church for over 20 years, Elaine's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her connection with her church community brought her immense joy and fulfillment, as she embraced the values of love, generosity, and service. Elaine is survived by her devoted husband, Randy Adams, whose love and partnership were a source of strength and joy throughout her life; her son, John (Dixie Johnson) Adams of Senatobia, MS; her daughter, Amanda (Cody Clark) Clark of Holly Springs, MS; her seven grandchildren, Laken Johnson of Senatobia, Gavin Shellhart of Holly Springs, Emma Adams of Senatobia, Luke Adams of Senatobia, Eliza Johnson of Senatobia, Luna Johnson of Senatobia, and Evelyn Clark of Holly Springs; Her beloved dog Gypsy, and many extended relatives and a host of friends. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, David Vernon Wilroy and Margaret "Peggy" Kelly. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM, both at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road, East, Southaven, MS 38672).
