Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Kristen Kaufman, 37, of Oxford, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at North Oxford Baptist Church. The funeral service celebrating her life will take place immediately following the visitation, beginning at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of North Oxford Baptist Church, with Bro. Fish Robinson officiating. Interment will take place in Yellow Leaf Cemetery. Kristen Kaufman’s life was marked by creativity, dedication, and a deep love for her family. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her generous heart, and the joy she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Kristen served as a Marketing Associate at FNB Bank, where she combined professionalism, imagination, and care, leaving a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Beyond her professional life, she poured her energy into mentoring and uplifting others. As a cheer coach and co-owner of LK Tumble and Stunt, she inspired confidence, discipline, and teamwork in the young athletes she coached, shaping not only skills but character. A naturally artistic and creative soul, Kristen found beauty in expression and exploration. She loved traveling, especially trips to the beach, where she felt renewed and at peace. Fitness was an important part of her routine, reflecting her determination and strength. Known for her practical wisdom, she took pride in being frugal and resourceful, and she especially enjoyed the thrill of thrifting and finding hidden treasures. Above all, Kristen was simply a joy to be around. Her warmth, laughter, and presence lit up a room and made others feel valued and seen. Of all the roles she embraced, none meant more to her than being a mother. “Mom” was her most cherished title, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her three children, loving and guiding them with unwavering commitment. Kristen’s memory will be treasured by those who knew her and by all whose lives were enriched by her kindness, creativity, and love. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the hearts she touched and the family she held so dear. She leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence; her husband, Brian Yarbrough of Oxford; father, Jesse Kaufman of Oxford; three children: Hudson Kate Yarbrough, Mason Scott Yarbrough, and Corbyn Claire Yarbrough all of Oxford; one sister, Jessica Spray and her husband JC of Como; five nieces and nephews: Justin Burns of Oxford; Stella Spray of Como; Carson Burns of Oxford; Olivia Spray of Como; and Josie Burns of Oxford; Sister-in-law of Erica Burns and her husband Aaron of Oxford; and best-friend, Lexi Porter of Oxford. The loved ones who departed from this life include: her mother, Donna Kay Kaufman; paternal grandfather, Augustus Lewis Kaufman, Jr; paternal grandmother, Betty Cherry; maternal grandfather, Herman Paul Miller; and maternal grandmother, Rose Miller.
