“We love because He first loved us.” -1 John 4:19 Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch James L. Kimberlin, 86, of Holly Springs, MS, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. There will be a celebration of life held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 5:30 pm at Kincaid Manor, 516 S Red Banks Rd, Holly Springs, MS 38635. After the service, friends are invited to join the family for food and fellowship. Jim was born on February 6, 1937, in Neelyville, MO. He served our country honorably in the United States Marine Corp. He was a very hard worker who worked on the railroad for a couple of years and shared many great memories from that time in his life. In his free time, he was an avid golfer. He lived his life as a man of faith and was involved in his home church as well as the Billy Graham Crusades. Jim was a very successful businessman and loved to meet new people. He was skilled at making people feel valued and important. He also knew the importance of family and loved spending his time with them. Jim was a caring and faithful husband to his wife and was especially grateful for his time with his grandchildren and loved his great granddaughters. Because of his faith, Jim knew that his true home was in Heaven. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Kimberlin; son, James R. Kimberlin; and parents, Harry and Anna Kimberlin. Jim leaves behind his son, Brad Kimberlin (Paige); daughter-in-law, Teresa Kimberlin; grandchildren, Drew Kimberlin, Ashley Hamilton (Brock), Josh Kimberlin (Savannah), Morgan Kimberlin, Grant Kimberlin (Michaela), Kendall McKenzie (Kevin), and Ty Kimberlin; great-granddaughters, Harper Jo Hamilton, Zoe Marie Kimberlin, and Collins Amy Hamilton; and siblings, Barbara Barriner, Jacquelyn Pruett, and Ron Kimberlin (Martha). In lieu of traditional flowers, the family would appreciate that memorial contributions be made in his honor to the Kimberlin Family Memorial Fund Scholarship.
