Beverly Ann Felton

Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Beverly Ann Felton, 82, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Ann was born on September 22, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Robert Thomas Stone and Elsie Payne Stone. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School. She was also an avid member of First Christian Church in Marianna, Arkansas, and a lifetime Junior Auxiliary member. Ann married her late husband, John F Felton, on January 13, 1962, devoting an expansive thirty-eight years to one another before his passing. In her free time, she loved to play Phase 10, Bunko, and Bridge with her friends in the Marianna group. In addition to playing cards, she loved to be outdoors and surrounded by nature. Fishing was one of her favorite past times that she had taught and enjoyed often with her cherished grandsons. Some of her greatest times and fondest memories were created at Bear Creek alongside her dearest friends. Ann was known by her strong, and independent personality; one never had to question where they stood in her eyes. But above all, her family was her world. She cherished and adored them, spending as much time with them as she could, expressing her love frequently and often. Her grandsons held a special place in her heart, and she showered them with extra attention. Although she has departed from our presence, Ann’s memory will hold a special place in the hearts and minds of her loved ones and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Felecia Felton Arendale (Tommy) of Como, Mississippi; 6 grandsons, Alan Bradshaw (Kristen) of Forrest City, Arkansas; Kyle Bradshaw (Alicia) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Jordan Bradshaw (Anna Deason) of Como, Mississippi, Matt Arendale (Catherine Forbes) of Arlington, Tennessee, Ryan Arendale (Chandler Everett) of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Nick Arendale of Como, Mississippi, several great and great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Ann is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Felton; her son, John “Johnny” Robert Felton; her parents, Robert Thomas Stone and Elsie Payne Stone; her twin brother, Robert Lee Stone; and her brother, Steven Bruce Stone.
