Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Mr. Robert Keith Parker, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. A visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford (601 Commerce Pkwy., Oxford, MS 38655). Graveside services will be private and for family only. Interment will be at the Garden of Memories Oxford (295 Hwy. 7 North, Oxford, MS 38655). Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Parker was born on November 21, 1941 in Clarksdale, MS. Keith grew up with such a fun-loving personality. He was always very dedicated to the things he put his mind to, and he was known to have a heart of gold. For the majority of his life, Keith worked for the United States Department of Agriculture as a Soil Conservation Technician. He had a great work ethic, and his love for the outdoors made this job perfect for him. Away from work, Keith loved anything and everything outdoors. Whether it was hunting in the winter or fishing in the summer, he would spend as much time as he could in nature. He especially loved riding his motorcycle in the nice weather. However, Keith loved nothing more than spending time with his beloved wife and family. He had a way of bringing joy and laughter to everyone that he came into contact with. He loved his family and friends fiercely, but showed it by playing pranks and picking on them. Being a member of the Oxford Church of Christ, he loved his Lord and Savior, and lived his life to be a faithful servant. Keith lived a full and wonderful life, and he will truly be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Patricia Sealand Parker of Oxford; his two daughters, Buffy Hipp and Katie (Wade) Griffin, both of Oxford; his son, Kipp (Melissa) Parker of Oxford; four grandsons, Hunter (Marlie) Franklin, Dylan Parker, J.B. Parker, and Liam Griffin, all of Oxford; one granddaughter, Meredith Vaughn of Abbeville, MS; and a host of extended family members. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Parker and Christine Parker; and his brother, Jackie Parker.
