Randall Wynn Roberson

Randall Wynn Roberson, 58, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. Born in Greenwood, MS, Mr. Roberson had lived in the Oxford area for eleven years. He had been in heavy equipment sales having worked for Thompson Machinery, a Caterpillar dealer, for 34 years. Mr. Roberson had also worked for Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers and, currently, was employed by Heavy Machines, Inc. of Memphis. He loved his work, customers and colleagues. Hunting, fishing, cooking outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and Ole Miss sports were all things that Mr. Roberson enjoyed. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenwood, MS, Ducks Unlimited and the Exchange Club in Greenwood. Visitation will be held Monday, May 2, 2016, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Walthall Memorial Cemetery, Walthall, MS at 4:00 p.m. that same day. Bro. Gayden Harrell will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife Jondi Clanton Roberson of Oxford, MS; four sons, Randall (Marley) Roberson of Jackson, MS, Andrew (Carre) Roberson of Greenwood, MS, Calton Roberson of Oxford, MS and Jonathan Brackeen of St. Cloud, FL; a sister, Diane Roberson (Dwayne) Anderson of Eads, TN; five grandchildren, Elam Roberson, Woods Roberson, Wynn Roberson, Mary Countiss Roberson and Ella Roberson; His father- in-law and mother-in-law, Johnny and Glenda Clanton of Walthall, MS; his sister-in-law, Vicki Clanton (Ronnie) Blaylock of Newton, MS; three nephews, Bryan Anderson and Austin Anderson both of Eads, TN and Clanton Blaylock of Newton, MS; a niece, Anna-Rose Blaylock of Newton, MS; his best canine friend, "Buckwheat". His parents, Billy W. and Margaret Roberson, preceded Mr. Roberson in death. Special thanks to Dr. Pascal Wilson, Dr. John Cantrell, Dr. Dennis Morgan and all the staff who cared for Mr. Roberson at the Baptist Cancer Center.
