Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven Maureen Kilcullen Holden, 69, passed away January 5,2023, in Southaven, MS. A mass will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Church (633 Orchard Street, Scranton, PA 18505) on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a mass at 10:00 a.m.. Maureen Kilcullen Holden was born November 29, 1953, in Scranton, PA. She was an extremely selfless and caring person who was always willing to help anyone in need. Maureen was an encouraging, supportive, and dedicated mother & grandmother. Many will remember Maureen as positive, inspiring, strong-willed, direct, and loved to make others laugh. She was so much fun to spend time with, whether it was watching a movie, discussing life, or singing in the car to her favorite music. One of her favorite activities was going to the movies or to the Orpheum to watch the latest famous Broadway production. She was a dreamer who had a unique imagination and loved to tell stories which kept her youthful at heart. Above all, Maureen loved big. Maureen believed in God’s Word and her love for Christ was the bedrock of her life. Maureen was truly a special person who will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. Maureen Kilcullen Holden is survived by her sons, Dustin Holden and Jason Holden (Shonda), both of Southaven; her granddaughter, Olivia Ray Holden of Southaven; her grandson, Jase Logan Holden of Southaven; her aunt Mary Alice Kilcullen; her uncle Joseph P. Kilcullen; her sisters, Kathleen Greene (Bruce) of Othello, WA and Jane Francis “Jiffy” Spencer (Tommy) of Stanton, TN; her nephews, Brad Spencer (Rachel) of Lakeland, TN, Bobby Egan (Cat) of Scranton, PA, and Timothy Greene; her nieces, Stacey Madonia (Paul) of Bartlett, TN, Casey Garafola (Matt) of Scranton, and Katie Johnson; the father of her children, Leslie Stephen Holden; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; and her fur babies, Oakley, Charlie, and Maow. Maureen Kilcullen Holden was preceded in death by her father, William J. Kilcullen; her mother, Francis Loftus Kilcullen; her sister, Joanne Kilcullen; and her brother, William F. Kilcullen.
