Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Lynn Davis Williamson, 67, of Oxford, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at her residence. The family has elected not to host any services and will mourn her passing privately, leaning on one another for support. She graced this world with her presence on July 14, 1958, in Indianola, Mississippi, as one of the six children born to the late JT Wallace Davis and Dorothy Wooten Davis. Lynn’s deep commitment to service showed during her years in the Batesville community. She volunteered at Tri Lake Hospital and comforted patients and their families. Her caring nature touched many lives. Her selfless work will be remembered by all who knew her. Lynn was an enterprising and driven business owner. She ran Hot Tunes Music Store and Eureka Movie Theater, both cherished in Batesville. She skillfully revived old spaces, renovating theaters with creativity and vision. Lynn managed every detail herself, balanced her own books, and oversaw all business operations. Lynn’s passion for life reached beyond her work. She was an avid walker and enjoyed staying active every day. She loved to read. Her home was filled with books, reflecting her curiosity and joy for learning. Lynn found comfort and companionship in her cats and delighted in their presence. She kept herself busy, finding purpose in every moment and inspiring others as well. Lynn Davis Williamson will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and the entire Batesville community. Her legacy of service, entrepreneurship, and zest for life will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence: her beloved son, Michael Williamson of Oxford, Mississippi; three siblings: Jean Whitaker of Greenville, Mississippi; Wally Davis and his wife Peggy of Indianola, Mississippi; Randy Davis and his wife Debbie of Indianola, Mississippi; and dearly loved host of nieces and nephews. The loved ones who departed this life before her include her parents, JT Wallace Davis and Dorothy Wooten Davis, and her two siblings, Gail LeBlanc and Charles Davis.
