Linda Pollan Clark

Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Linda Pollan Clark, age 76, of Tunica, MS, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch, MS. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 12:00 pm officiated by Brother Dennis Doughty, former minister of the Tunica Church of Christ. The burial will follow at Longtown Cemetery in Longtown, MS. Linda was born on January 27, 1947, in Longtown, MS. She was the youngest of eleven siblings. After marrying her devoted husband, Gerald, she moved to Tunica, MS, where she worked for many years at the Tunica County Welfare Department in various capacities until her retirement. She was a well-loved member of the Tunica Church of Christ where she enjoyed serving as Sunday School teacher, leading Bible studies, and coordinating church events. She was an accomplished musician and loved to play the piano and organ. Linda was an excellent cook and was always sharing her homemade treats with friends and neighbors. She loved her entire family unconditionally and was happiest when spending time with her two grandsons. Linda was a beautiful and adoring Mom, a beloved Mimi, a kind and generous Aunt Lynn, a faithful servant of God and a loyal friend to all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Sanford Clark; granddaughter, Mary Katherine McFadden; parents, Birdie Bruckner Pollan and Jim Pollan; sisters, Nell Williams, Hazel Redden, Peggy Alderson and Jenny Spencer; and brothers Robert Edward Pollan and Corbett Pollan. Linda is survived by her daughter, Malisa Clark McFadden (Frank) of Germantown, TN; grandsons, Garrett Clark McFadden and Grayden Francis McFadden of Germantown, TN; sister, Dolly Walters of Southaven, MS; brother, Billy James Pollan (Sheila) of Longtown, MS; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Tunica Church of Christ, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), or a charity of your choice.
