John "Jarrad" Anderson

Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven John “Jarrad” Anderson, 36, of Canal Winchester, OH, formally of Walls, MS, passed away, Friday, August 12, 2023, at his home. A visitation will be held Friday, August 25, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a celebration of life following at 1:00 p.m., all at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven. Bro. John Coleman will officiate services. Interment will be at Nesbit Cemetery. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements. Jarrad was born to John and Tami Anderson, of Nesbit, MS. He graduated from Horn Lake High School in 2006 and in 2013, he obtained his aviation maintenance license from Enterprise State Community College. He was employed by Wintron, at his time of death. He is described as a guy with a free spirit, living life to the fullest extent. He was humorous and witty, always making others around him laugh. He loved outdoor activities, such as, fishing, hunting, traveling, and going to music festivals. He enjoyed collecting shoes, good food and wine, reading, and being a history buff. Jarrad was also an airplane fanatic, who enjoyed, not only working on them, but also building miniature models. He was a huge Memphis Grizzlies fan, watching them perform anytime they were on. To those who loved and knew Jarrad the most, knew that his life was lived to the fullest and that he loved you no matter what. Jarrad is survived by his parents, John and Tami Anderson, of Nesbit, MS; girlfriend, Kayla Blanton, of Asheville, OH; sister, Ashton (John) Worley, of Lake Cormorant, MS; nephew, Walker Worley, of Lake Cormorant; grandparents, Sandra Lee, of Southaven, MS, and Teddy R. Morris, Jr., of Memphis, TN; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Sara Wells, Frank Lee, and Martha J. Morris; and great-grandmother, Sara Woodward. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Living Branches of Christ (P.O.
