Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Hailey Leann Boggs, 49, of Oxford, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital on Friday, July 12, 2024. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford. The service celebrating her life will take place at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Coleman Funeral Home. Hailey, daughter of the late Ronald Glen Fiew and Rhonda Sue Carwile, graced this world with her presence on October 15, 1974, in Water Valley. Our world was never the same. Hailey chose to travel through life with her loving husband, Doug Boggs, who was mesmerized by her beauty and smile throughout their thirty-one-year marriage; the couple brought life to three children, which she considered her greatest accomplishment. Her love knew no bounds and extended well beyond her family to anyone who needed to know someone cared. Aside from her role as a mother and records clerk, and not just to her own children, Hailey lived a very active lifestyle. She served as the records clerk at Lafayette Upper Elementary School, a place where both faculty and students adored her. When she was not working, she spent her leisure time outdoors relaxing in the sun at home or on the beach or looking after the family home while always maintaining her appearance. Hailey also found joy in the simplicity of turning the pages of a good book. Although she has departed from our presence, Hailey's memory will hold a special place in the hearts and minds of her loved ones. She leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence: beloved husband, Doug Boggs of Abbeville; two sons, Austin Boggs and his wife Dakota of Abbeville; Dallas Boggs of Abbeville; one daughter, Rhaylee Boggs of Abbeville; stepmother, Virgina Fiew of Abbeville, one brother, James Fiew of Abbeville; one nephew, Tristan Fiew of Oxford; four nieces; Katelyn Thweat of Abbeville; Bryce Fiew of Oxford; Shelby Jenkins of Abbeville; Abby Thweatt of Thaxton; one great nephew, Aiden Thweatt of Abbeville; two dear friends: Brandy Jenkins of Oxford; Niki Pruitt of Oxford; host of extended family members and friends too numerous to count. The loved ones who departed from this life before her include her father and mother, Ronald Glen Fiew and Rhonda Sue Carwile, as well as one brother, Donald Carwile.
