Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Carolyn Oliver Fuller, 85, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. There will be a graveside service held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 11:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. Rev. Mike Crouch of Bellevue Baptist Church will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements. Carolyn was born on June 22, 1937, in Dyer, TN. Carolyn attended secretary school in Memphis and worked as a legal secretary at Mid-South Title before retiring to take care of her husband, Charles. She was married to him for forty-two long, happy years. She loved her family and spending as much time as she could with them. Carolyn especially enjoyed traveling with her husband and children. She loved to load everyone up and take them out West to California to visit family. One of her favorite places to visit was the Great Smoky Mountains. Carolyn was happy wherever she was, as long as it was with her family. Carolyn and Charles loved spending time with family at area lakes. She kept a nice collection of teapots. Her favorite hobby was cooking and she loved to entertain. Sunday dinner was important to her and she made sure to have it prepared every weekend. Carolyn was an extremely generous person and loved to give whenever given the opportunity. The kindness and love that she gave will not be forgotten. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fuller; parents, Lillian Oliver and Carl Oliver; sister, Lorene McDaniel; and brother, Don Oliver. Carolyn leaves behind her daughters, Martha Ferguson (Keith) of Olive Branch, MS, and Betty Lambert (Joe) of Germantown, TN; granddaughter, Angie Danner (Craig) of Memphis, TN; grandsons, Adam Matthew Ferguson of Olive Branch, MS, and Joseph Samuel Lambert of Germantown, TN; great-granddaughter, Hannah Danner of Memphis, TN; brother, Raymond Oliver of Santa Rosa, CA; and sister-in-law, Judy Oliver of Trenton, TN. In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
